Dean+Nekol+Amara

Dean & Nekol are another family I met 6 years ago (!) when Amara and my son, Grant, started preschool together. Amara held her own for quite a while as the only girl in a class of 5 boys! Different elementary schools mean we don’t see each other much anymore, but it was so awesome to hang out for a little bit and get family pictures! I was so sad to hear that they recently said goodbye to their first boxer baby, Bailey. But I was able to meet their new puppy, Brooks. Brooks is a gorgeous boy, full of puppy playfulness and bark. Amara woke up on this morning not feeling very well, but you can’t tell at all by looking at her pictures! She loves cheerleading and was even willing to show me a few moves!

Nekol Boone - I remember when you first started taking pictures and we use to tell you how talented you are…..you just keep getting better, if that’s even possible! Thank you for creating and preserving great memories for us! We love you too!

Ryan+Katie+Kellan+Finn

I met up with friends Katie, Ryan, Kellan and Finn at a local farm early in the morning. It was a bright, chilly, gorgeous day – perfect for apple picking. When we met in the parking lot, the whole world smelled like kettle corn and fall! Awesome!! The last time I took pictures of Finn, he was a few weeks old! (He’s the sleeping baby in the header!) He is such a big little man now, and he has the biggest killer blue eyes! Kellan is an awesome, happy 3 year old who loves to drum on pumpkins! I had a great morning with these guys, and can’t wait to get together again!!
